Hotel information

The convent has a long and fascinating history. It began from a poor monk of the Frati Minori Conventuali order, Brother Agostino da Miglionico, who built a little cell deep inside the mountain that was later transformed, with the help of Fra Girolamo da S. Agata, into a comfortable little convent. Today, the antique convent has been restructured while maintaining its historic and artistic value, and has become the elegant and accommodating Hotel San Francesco al Monte. The charm of the ambience remains intact, and every detail has been restored to its old splendor. The swimming pool is open from 15 May 2008 until 15 September 2008, from 09:00 until 17:30.

The hotel's panoramic restaurant is located on the terrace on the 4th floor. It serves an excellent selection of Mediterranean cuisine. The nightly rate includes a full breakfast, served each morning.
